Senior Speech and Language Therapist

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join the HSE East Limerick and Ballina Community Healthcare Network. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide specialist speech and language therapy services to both adults and children, working within a multidisciplinary team to support individuals with a range of communication and swallowing difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for paediatric and adult clients.
- Provide therapy to individuals with speech, language, and communication difficulties, as well as dysphagia management.
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and patient-centered care.
- Educate and train parents, teachers, and support staff on communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development initiatives.
Requirements:
- Recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification and CORU registration.
- Minimum of three years post-qualification experience, ideally in both paediatrics and adult care.
- Experience in dysphagia management is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Passion for working in a community healthcare setting.
