Our organization is seeking an experienced Senior Speech and Language Therapist to provide specialist speech and language therapy services to adults and children, working within a multidisciplinary team to support individuals with communication and swallowing difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for paediatric and adult clients.
  2. Provide therapy to individuals with speech, language, and communication difficulties, as well as dysphagia management.
  3. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient-centered care.
  4. Educate and train parents, teachers, and support staff on effective communication strategies.
  5. Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development initiatives.

Requirements:

  1. Recognized Speech and Language Therapy qualification and registration with the relevant regulatory body.
  2. Minimum of three years post-qualification experience, ideally in both paediatrics and adult care.
  3. Experience in dysphagia management is highly desirable.
  4. Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential.
