We invite applications for a Part-Time Night Hatch Attendant to join our team at the Tipperary Town Plaza.

The Plaza Group, part of the Supermac's group, operates key locations on busy road networks and motorways. It includes Supermac's, Papa John's, Supersubs, Macs Place Deli, a Retail Convenience Shop, customer seating, and motorway facilities for leisure, business, and truck commuters, with ample parking and services.

PLEASE NOTE: Night Hatch Attendant - 11 pm to 7 am. This position requires full flexibility to work nights.

Training will commence immediately.

"Due to the nature of the job, candidates must be over 20 years old."

Job Purpose

To assist the Retail & Forecourt Manager in supervising the site and operations during the nighttime period. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure the hatch is manned at all times
  • Induct and train new nighttime employees as required
  • Communicate operational matters to daytime staff and give proper handovers
  • Provide high-quality and consistent customer service
  • Carry out nighttime duties such as cleaning and servicing equipment, stocking, and maintaining product quality
  • Assist in managing the retail store and forecourt, communicating customer requests and suggesting improvements
  • Identify and mitigate potential hazards in the store
  • Help minimize stock loss through wastage, damages, and pilferage, adhering to food management and waste procedures
  • Ensure the store is merchandised attractively and in accordance with company guidelines
  • Rotate stock properly to ensure in-date products are available

The shop will be closed to the public; limited services will be offered via the night hatch.

Only candidates currently living in Ireland and authorized to work here will be considered.
