We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious General Accountant to join our friendly, busy, experienced Finance team. You will be using your accounting skills and professional experience to do excellent work in our finance department. What you'll do

As the General Accountant you will be part of a large friendly multilingual team and responsible for the daily and monthly general accounting processes for up to 10 entities.

  • Gain an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the accounting tasks, accounting treatment and reporting.
  • Perform monthly calculations and entries for sundry accruals, inventories, prepayments and other general accounting as required.
  • Manage monthly purchase order tasks including closure and accrual run.
  • Responsible for monthly fixed asset run and related entries and closure.
  • Ensure the relevant backup is provided to the Reconciliations team.
What We're Looking For

ACA or ACCA part qualified (or equivalent) and relevant experience, ideally in a shared services environment. You must have at least an intermediate level of competence with Excel and a good understanding of all other Microsoft Office packages. You will also have previous experience of using an ERP system, preferably Oracle, on a daily basis.
