Description

Responsibilities include research, analysis, monitoring, and support for pipeline strategy and business development opportunities, by synthesizing data from areas such as market, financial, medical scientific rationale, regulatory and other. Develop, coordinate, and manage research findings into concise product files and/or presentations.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop first instance assessment of potential product development opportunities.
  • Provide periodic reviews of market data, database listings, and competitive intelligence for a consistent flow of new product development or acquisition opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a product data repository for both the portfolio and pipeline products.
  • Build and maintain financial models for new opportunities and existing pipeline.
  • Develop complex pipeline analysis for innovative products including scientific rationale.
  • Contribute to the definition of the overall company strategy by developing budgets and conducting market analysis to support decision-making.
  • Align strategies with the future pipeline and prepare business case proposals for the development of new products to meet local customer needs.
  • Develop complex analyses for selecting products to bring to R&D (including generics and innovative products) and liaise with internal departments to lead the feasibility phase until the project goes live if necessary.
  • Maintain a database/tracker summarizing product info, key findings, decisions and action items.
  • Support pipeline prioritization and decision-making for future development, acquisition, and current development projects using different databases and monitoring industry conditions and internal progress.
  • Communicate relevant information to ensure portfolio optimization.
  • Support business case development and financial analysis for business development activities.
  • Identify, approach, negotiate and manage relationships with existing or prospective development partners.
  • Negotiate term sheets, letters of intent, and definitive agreements with prospective development or co-development partners, contract research organizations, and contract manufacturing organizations.
  • Identify, negotiate and manage relationships with co-development partners.
  • Monitor competitor activities for pipeline and on-market products; manage dashboards and report to business leaders to help make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with key business partners (Business Development, R&D, Production, Regulatory, Patent experts, API Sourcing).
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external development partners to monitor development status of in-house pipeline projects in terms of timelines, budget and main risks.
  • Other responsibilities inherent to managing the portfolio and supporting the selection and development of new products.
Education & Experience
  • Pharma related study (Pharmacy, Chemical, Medicine or others) and additional advanced degree in statistics, data science or management is a plus.
  • Advanced English skills.
  • Solid computer skills, using MS Office (especially Excel) and Salesforce.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical market-related databases (including IQVIA).
  • Strong familiarity with regulatory authorities websites such as the HPRA, FDA, or others.
  • Very strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
