Our leading Multinational Semiconductor Telecom Company requires Staff and Senior C++ Algorithm Developers for roles based in Cork City, Ireland.

The role requires you to be onsite 5 days per week.

Role:

You will develop CAD tools and software for the latest design, methodology, technology, algorithms, and automation.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop software and automation for chip design
  • Apply strong debugging skills, with an aptitude to learn and resolve complex issues
  • Contribute to the continuous development of tools, technology, and flows
Education:
  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Applied Mathematics
Experience:
  • 3-5 years of strong C++ experience (STL, BOOST, multi-threaded programming, algorithm development such as sorting and dynamic programming)
  • Knowledge of CAD/EDA tools and flows is beneficial
  • Background in mathematics is beneficial
  • Preferred programming experience with Python
  • Exposure to VLSI design concepts and logic design
