About the Role

This is a full-time position based in Cork City, Ireland. As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for developing CAD tools and software for the latest design, methodology, technology, algorithms, and automation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software and automation for chip design.
  • Strong debugging skills, aptitude to learn and resolve complex issues.
  • Contribute towards the continuous development of tools, technology, and flows.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled software engineer with experience in C++, STL, BOOST, Multi-Threading, and algorithm development. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of data structures and some knowledge of CAD/EDA tools and flows. A background in Mathematics is also beneficial.

The following qualifications and skills are required:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in C++ (Version 20/21), STL, BOOST, Multi-Threading, and algorithm development.
  3. Strong knowledge of data structures.
  4. Some knowledge of CAD/EDA tools and flows is beneficial.
  5. A background in Mathematics is beneficial.
  6. Preferred programming experience with Python.
  7. Exposure to VLSI design concepts and logic design.
