Job Summary

Nua Healthcare Services (Nua) is one of Ireland's leading Private Healthcare Providers, specialising in Residential and Supported Living Services, to both Children and Adults with complex support needs.

We are seeking applications from energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team for the above positions. The successful candidate will receive all necessary training and development. Candidates must be highly motivated, creative, and passionate about engaging with Service Users daily. Candidates will contribute to enriching the lives of our Service Users.

Job Objectives

The role of a Social Care Worker and Assistant Support Worker is to provide care to people who use our services. We support your development and upskilling to deliver high-quality care, maintain professional relationships with team members and Service Users.

Our goal is to support people in reaching their full potential and leading meaningful lives through our services.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Supporting people with their daily plans
  • Supporting people in the community
  • Supporting education, skills development, and personal outcomes
  • Assisting with living skills such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, appointments, and family visits
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, standards, regulations, and codes of practice
  • Shift work over 24/7
Skills Requirement
  • Assistant Support Worker - No qualification required; training provided
  • Social Care Workers - Level 7/8 degree in Social Care/Healthcare or related discipline
  • Relevant experience is desirable but not essential
  • Positive attitude and passion for supporting people
  • Full Driver's Licence or in the process of obtaining one
