Overview

Florist - New Product Developer at Keelings. You will be part of a passionate team within a growing business, focusing on the development of everyday key ranges and event/peak ranges in the cut flower category. Keelings values professional development and a sense of belonging for all employees.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
  • Create and request raw material product lists from grower and supplier for customer range additions and all NPD sessions
  • Attend customer and team briefing sessions and understand requirements for customer NPD sessions and presentations
  • Design all bouquets to meet customer and team briefs
  • Travel to trade shows to understand emerging trends and introduce them to customers
  • Collaborate with packaging suppliers to evolve offerings and enhance floral offerings
  • Include key seasonal lines and trends in designs
  • Accurately cost up products using NLFS with support from finance and commercial teams
  • Prepare product and presentations for all customer visits
  • Create purchase orders in KBS for samples and work with stock team to manage them
  • Create production records for sampling sessions
  • Arrange sample delivery and collection
  • Manage photography for pre and post presentations
  • Manage internal display room and develop brochures for customers
  • Support with customer tenders
  • Manage all end-of-life (EOL) samples

  • Work 5 over 7 (some weekends from time to time)
