Alliance Medical Diagnostic Imaging Ltd. Ireland are currently recruiting for a Business Development Specialist for the Dublin region & surrounds of Kildare & Wexford.

The Business Development Specialist will be involved in building, supporting, and maintaining relationships with our broad customer base.

This role will also encompass identifying and developing new sites, seeking contracts, tenders and waiting list initiatives from potential sources in the private and public sector.

Duties to Include:
  1. Deal directly with Consultants, Hospital Managers, RSM's, The HSE and all potential Alliance Medical clients.
  2. Business development of existing and new business ventures.
  3. Initiate contact and build strong and long-lasting relationships with existing and potential commissioners in order to maximise opportunities.
  4. Develop and implement business plans to relevant target groups.
  5. Utilise knowledge and relationships to gain referrals from target customer group.
  6. Monitor sales development, potential market penetration, market trends and competitor activity.
  7. Work closely with the Managing Director to follow up on Business Development opportunities.
  8. Key involvement on SLA and contract design, negotiation and implementation.
  9. Communicate to the Managing Director & Regional Managers on information relevant to sites.
  10. Develop influential customers in regions agreed as with manager.
  11. Share experience with other staff for the benefit of the company.
  12. Assist with new product/service development.
  13. Input and feedback to marketing dept. to ensure appropriate strategy is in place.
  14. Utilise marketing information to enhance market penetration.
  15. Working closely with marketing and involvement in marketing events.
  16. Direct involvement with the website to maximise selling potential of Alliance Medical.
  17. Project Execution: maintain involvement on projects, communicating regularly and proactively with key stakeholders.
  18. Increase the turnover of allocated sites in specified region.
General:
  1. Adhere to Company policies at all times.
  2. Embrace and support any changes in technology and to assist in the implementation and operation of these changes.
  3. Perform such other duties appropriate to the post as may be assigned from time to time by the Manager or a nominee.
  4. To be conversant with relevant Health & Safety Legislation.
  5. Responsible for their own Health and Safety.
  6. Compliance with all company policies and procedures and health and safety policies.
  7. Compliance with Data Protection legislation and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
  8. Maintain good communication channels will all levels of staff throughout the company.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Proven track record in business development in the medical industry.
  2. A thorough understanding of the Irish Healthcare Service.
  3. Strong commercial acumen and planning skills.
  4. Very strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Flexible & adaptable to change.
  6. Ability to work successfully with business referrers.
  7. Product Knowledge: possess and maintain strong and current product knowledge of own as well as competitive products.
  8. Good understanding of customer profiling.
  9. Willing to cover a large territory.
  10. Self-starter, self-disciplined and innovative.
  11. Full clean driving licence.
