Moorehall Lodge Ardee, part of the Virtue Integrated Elder Care Group, provides a positive living experience for people in a place they can flourish and call home. We invite suitable candidates to apply for a full-time Health Care Assistant position.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Assist in delivering a high standard of holistic care to residents, promoting their equality and dignity.
  • Carry out assigned and delegated tasks involving direct care and all activities of daily living, including washing, toileting, dressing, dining, social activities, and communication support.
  • Respect the privacy and dignity of all residents and promote their independence.
  • Provide particular attention and assist residents with limited mobility.
  • Understand and observe care plans, alerting nurses regarding any changes in residents' physical and mental states.
  • Report immediately any incidents that may compromise the health and safety of residents or visitors.
  • Maintain a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Communicate effectively with all residents and their relatives/representatives.
  • Contribute to and enhance the quality of resident activities and events.
  • Minimum partial QQI Level 5 Award - Healthcare or equivalent, or Nursing Degree / Allied Health Degree / Relevant Healthcare Degree.
