Description Moore is a leading Irish provider of accountancy and advisory services for smart, commercially ambitious enterprises seeking the highest standards in client service and expertise. We are currently seeking to recruit an Accounting Manager to join our Medical and Professional group in Galway to support ongoing growth. This is an opportunity with excellent opportunities for career progression. The role focuses on providing high-quality services to our diverse client base. The duties of the Manager include:
  • Manage a portfolio of clients,
  • Manage a team of part qualified and qualified accountants,
  • Preparation and review of accounts together with income tax and corporation tax returns,
  • Responsible for working to deadlines and within budget on each assignment,
  • Manage and plan workflow,
  • Managing and mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work,
  • Attending client meetings,
  • Provide efficient and pro-active service to exceed clients expectations,
  • Working closely with the Medical and Professional Partner and wider team.
Demonstrable Experience and Qualifications Required:
  • Qualified Accountant – ACA or ACCA
  • 5 years + post qualified experience in practice
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Excellent project management skills
  • An ability to delegate, manage and review the work of the Medical and Professional team and other departments within the firm.
