We are seekingDirectorsto join our Board and bring their expertise to help drive our mission forward. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the community while gaining valuable governance experience in a dynamic organisation.

About Us:
Fingal LEADER Partnership is a Local Development Company delivering a range of programs to support individuals, businesses, and communities. These include rural development, social inclusion initiatives, and enterprise supports, ensuring sustainable growth and enhanced well-being across the region.

Who We're Looking For:
We are particularly interested in individuals with expertise in the following areas:

  • Human Resources (HR): Experience in recruitment, workforce planning, and organisational culture.
  • Legal: Knowledge of charity law, governance, or regulatory compliance.
  • Health & Safety: Expertise in workplace safety standards and risk management.
  • Philanthropy:including strategic grant making, charitable program development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend and actively participate in Board meetings (approximately 6–8 per year - half online and half in person).
  • Sit on one Subcommittee of the Board (online meetings)
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure the organisation achieves its objectives.
  • Contribute expertise in your specific area to support the development and growth of the organisation.
  • Act as an ambassador for Fingal LEADER Partnership, fostering relationships with stakeholders and the wider community.

Commitment:
This is a voluntary position. The expected time commitment is attendance at Board meetings, preparation time, and participation in sub-committees or special projects.
