Are you an experienced leader in the care sector with a passion for excellence?We are seeking a dedicated Care Manager to oversee catering, cleaning, and housekeeping services within a female religious order setting.This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and respectful environment.
Position: Care Manager
Location: Waterford City & Wexford Town
Salary: €35,000 per annum + performance bonus
Hours: Full-time, 30 hours per week| Monday - Friday | 8am-4.30pm x 4 days and 8am - 3.30pm x 1 day
Start Date: Immediate (subject to Garda Vetting)
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of 10 staff members across catering, cleaning, and housekeeping departments.
Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards of hygiene and service delivery, complying with health and safety regulations.
Financial Oversight: Maintain accurate financial records and operate within agreed budget levels.
Operational Excellence: Oversee the entire food cycle from preparation to delivery, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Compliance: Enforce statutory and company policies related to occupational health and safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for service enhancement and implement best practices.
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience in a similar managerial role within the care sector.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Solid understanding of budgeting and financial management.
Familiarity with compliance standards and health and safety regulations.
Relevant qualifications and IT literacy.
