Public Area Cleaning Attendant – The Address Hotel Cork

We are currently seeking a Public Area Cleaning Attendant to join our team at The Address Hotel, Cork.
This role is essential in ensuring our hotel maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across all guest areas.

The Role

The Public Area Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness of all public spaces, including lobbies, restrooms, and other common areas. The role may also involve supporting with cleaning guest rooms when required. You will also respond to guest requests promptly and professionally, helping us deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in public areas including restrooms, lobbies, corridors, and other hotel facilities
  • Ensure that guest rooms and designated back-of-house areas are clean and well-presented as required
  • Respond to guest requests courteously and efficiently
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the relevant department
  • Work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure standards are consistently met

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or a similar role is preferred but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Good communication skills with a good command of English (spoken and written)
  • A positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
