Utility Project Engineer - Ireland, Cork - 12 Month Contract

Would you like the opportunity to work alongside a global healthcare product manufacturer, a leader in the production of over-the-counter medicines? Our client, responsible for developing key and revolutionary products with a thriving global presence, is recruiting for a Utility Project Engineer to join their new project.

Responsibilities include:
  • Project management and execution of assigned projects.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to scope projects and ensure requirements are met.
  • Working with System Owners, Maintenance Supervisors & Technicians, Capital Project Engineers, and Vendors to perform equipment upgrades and retrofits.
  • Coordinating the introduction of new processes, equipment, and materials, including troubleshooting equipment issues prior to qualification and start-up.
Required skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant experience.
  • Extensive engineering experience, preferably within a GMP manufacturing environment.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Strong mechanical skills with hands-on experience in a technical role within similar areas.
  • Experience in a GDP compliant environment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, deliver technical solutions, and implement improvements.
  • Solid leadership skills.
  • Technical report writing and communication/presentation skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
