Our client, a leading construction company, is currently seeking a Mechanical Foreman to join their team in Dublin, Ireland. This is a contract position within the construction industry, making it a significant opportunity for those with a strong mechanical background and leadership skills. The role involves supervising mechanical installation teams and ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation teams on-site.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and Irish building regulations.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Monitor site progress, productivity, and quality of workmanship.
  • Conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks to ensure health and safety compliance.
  • Manage materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, labour hours, and site issues.
  • Assist in resolving technical or coordination issues on-site.

Job Requirements:

  • Fully qualified plumber or mechanical craftsperson with relevant certifications (e.g., Safe Pass, Manual Handling).
  • Significant experience in mechanical installation, with experience in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, pipework, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Experience working on commercial, industrial, or data centre projects is an advantage.
  • Full, clean driving licence (desirable).
