Mechanical Foreman

A leading, established and highly successful provider of mechanical and electrical installation services to commercial and industrial buildings seek the solid appointment of an experienced Mechanical Foreman / Mechanical Supervisor from an M&E / Building Services mechanical installation background to join their exciting planned growth and continued success. Candidates sought must be able to commute to or are based in or near to Dublin. Typical projects may include new build data centres, distribution centres, manufacturing centres, hotels and leisure, stadia and apartment blocks to name a few etc. You will be one of the leading tradespeople present on site where you will coordinate the activities of the personnel within your team. It will be your esponsibility to ensure that all mechanical services installation work is delivered safely on site and with flawless quality, therefore we seek someone who is at the top of their game. You will have strong knowledge of HVAC, pipework, plumbing, and mechanical systems, the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics with excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Reporting to Site Managers and Project Managers, It is your job to make sure that the people under your control are kept busy and all productivity targets are met. Your focus and priority will always be, Safety, Quality, Productivity and Scheduling. Whilst you champion safety within your crew and ensure a safe working environment, you will check equipment planned for use is safe and fit for purpose, safety records are in date for each member of the crew and any required training is complete or planned before starting on site. Regular responsibilities will include weekly toolbox talks with the support of the safety advisor, ordering day to day materials and managing plant and equipment Candidates highly sought after are those naturally from an M&E / Building Services commercial and or industrial mechanical installation background with direct working experience as a Mechanical Foreman / Mechanical Supervisor in the delivery of mechanical services.
