Corporate Development - Senior Associate

Barden have been engaged by a renowned Irish company to invite a corporate finance professional to join their team as a Corporate Development Senior Associate.

This is a unique opportunity at this level sitting on a close-knit team, gaining direct exposure to a broad range of activities working closely with the senior leadership team.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role provides an excellent opportunity to utilise one's corporate finance experience within an industry setting and add real value to a renowned Irish business.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Create financial models to facilitate projects;
  • Analyse financial feasibility for new markets, mergers, acquisitions, and business growth opportunities;
  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling;
  • Present strategic, financial, and commercial insights to senior management;
  • Assist in transaction negotiations and contract development;
  • Support due diligence and deal structuring throughout all stages of projects;
  • Ad-hoc projects and tasks as they arise.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

  • Qualified accounting professional with 0-2 years PQE;
  • Previous corporate finance experience is essential;
  • Ability to deliver both qualitative and quantitative analysis for decision making at senior management level;
  • Self-starter who is motivated and can work autonomously;
  • Good commercial acumen and ability to analyse qualitative information;
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills;
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel.
