Our Corporate Governance Development Programme:

We're seeking a talented individual to join our graduate trainee company secretary programme. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in corporate governance, while working with our experienced team to deliver high-quality results.

As part of this programme, you'll support the preparation of board and committee meeting materials, monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintain accurate records. You'll also study towards your funded Chartered Governance Institute Professional accreditation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing board and committee meeting agendas, minutes, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant corporate governance, legal, regulatory, and stock exchange listing requirements.
  • Maintain minute books and statutory records, file annual returns, and ensure compliance with statutory filing obligations.
  • Liaise with internal senior leaders, external auditors, legal advisers, shareholder and share plan services providers, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  • A minimum 2:2 degree classification preferably in a related field (e.g., Law, Business, Finance).
  • To have graduated within the last three years.
