We are seeking an excellent scholar to join a project team led by Prof. Raul Cârstocea, who has been awarded a European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator Grant for a project entitled Insurgent Temporalities: Fascism as a Global Anti-Universalist Project (INTEMPO). The postdoctoral researcher will be part of a team undertaking a novel analysis of fascism during the interwar period and the Second World War, understood as a global phenomenon. They will engage in archival research, co-organise the activities of the project, contribute to the publications ensuing from them, and co-lead with the PI one of the work packages of the project, as detailed below. They will have the opportunity to develop their research, both individually and as part of a team of ambitious scholars.
Postdoctoral Researcher (2025) Salary Scale:€45,847 – €46,441 p.a. (2 points)
Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
Closing Date23:30 hrs (local Irish time) on Sunday, 10th August 2025.
