This is a senior leadership position, responsible for overseeing the design, tendering, and delivery of flue systems for large-scale industrial and commercial projects. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our manufacturing and site-based teams to ensure the successful execution of high-profile projects across Ireland and Europe.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the mechanical design function for flue systems on industrial and commercial projects.
  • Manage and coordinate design activities between in-house, manufacturing, and site-based teams.
  • Oversee the preparation of tender documentation, technical submissions, and project designs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical leadership to multi-disciplinary teams across design and delivery stages.
  • Support the Managing Director in strategic project planning and execution.
  • Promote best practice in engineering standards, project management, and quality assurance.
Candidate Profile
  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent discipline).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years' post-graduate engineering experience, ideally within industrial or commercial construction.
  • Strong background in steelwork fabrication and site-based project delivery.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D), Revit, Navisworks, and related IT tools.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of contracting environments, construction processes, and H&S legislation.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
