Sheridans Cheesemongers: Retail Merchandiser, FULL-TIME

Sheridans Cheeesemongers are seeking a Retail Merchandiser who can work independently across our self service retail locations in the Dublin area. The position will involve managing stock and maintaining the appearance of these locations, among other responsibilities detailed below. The successful candidate will be provided with a company vehicle to facilitate this work.

Responsibilities- Drive between our \'Sheridans Wall\' locations each workday.
- Ensure that the Sheridans retail outlets are merchandised and presented in a visually attractive way with a focus on customer needs.
- Where appropriate, engage with customers in a positive and friendly way in accordance with Sheridans\' customer service policies.
- Drive time is included in worked time.
- Communicate regular updates to the line-manager.
- Monitor stock levels and order stock to maintain recommended levels using a simple online application.
- Maintain cleanliness of locations as per HACCP plan; conduct a daily spot clean and weekly deep clean on chill and ambient.
- Regular merchandising to maintain appearance of display; stock rotation by date.
- Shelf restocking to ensure the site Wall is adequately stocked with appropriate products.
- Transport excess or short-dated stock to locations where it may be discounted and sold to avoid waste.
- As required: set up and run tastings of products to aid sales focuses.

- 1 year\'s experience in a similar role desirable but not essential
- Full clean driver\'s licence, valid in Ireland
- Awareness of HACCP/Food Safety in retail
- Organised and calm in a fast-paced environment
- Available 5 over 7 days including weekends and evenings to support business needs
