Sheridans Cheesemongers: Retail Merchandiser, FULL-TIME

Sheridans Cheesemongers are seeking a Retail Merchandiser who can work independently across self-service retail locations in the Dublin area. The position involves managing stock and maintaining the appearance of locations, with a company vehicle provided to facilitate the work.
Responsibilities- Drive between Sheridans Wall locations each workday.
- Ensure outlets are merchandised and presented neatly with a focus on customer needs.
- Engage with customers in a positive and friendly manner in line with Sheridans customer service policies (where appropriate).
- Time spent driving is included in worked time.
- Communicate regular updates to the line manager.
- At locations: monitor stock levels; order stock to maintain recommended levels using a simple online application;
- Maintain cleanliness of locations as per HACCP plan; conduct daily spot cleaning and weekly deep cleaning of chill and ambient areas;
- Regular merchandising to maintain display appearance; rotate stock by date; restock shelves to keep the Wall adequately stocked with appropriate products;
- Transport excess or short-dated stock to locations where it may be discounted and sold to avoid waste;
- As required: set up and run tastings of products to aid sales focuses.
- 1 year in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Full clean driver's licence, valid in Ireland.
- Awareness of HACCP/Food Safety in retail.
- Organised and calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Available 5 days over 7 including weekends and evenings to support business needs.
