Contract Type: Full time, 6 month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Charleville, Co. Cork

Role Overview:

Dawn Meats is one of Europe's leading beef and lamb processing companies with locations across Ireland, UK, France and continental Europe employing over 8,000 employees.

We are recruiting a receptionist to work in our Dawn Charleville site in Co. Cork on a 6 month fixed term contract. The receptionist is the first Dawn Meats representative that our customers, clients & colleagues will engage with when entering our offices therefore they must be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service & interaction.

Responsibilities

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Meeting and greeting visitors to the office.
  • Issuing security badges and ensuring that all necessary visit paperwork is completed.
  • Answering all incoming calls in a welcoming professional manner on a busy switchboard, taking messages if necessary and e-mail relevant individuals without delay.
  • Providing back up telephone cover for all other sites when required
  • Coordinate all reservations of meeting rooms using computerised booking system including catering/equipment requirements.
  • Ordering of catering supplies, cleaning supplies, stationery etc
  • Sort, distribute and coordinate all incoming & outgoing post and couriers.
  • Receive, sort & distribute all emails.
  • Assist with travel arrangements for group & site employees - including flights, trains, car hire etc.
  • Provide administration support to various departments.

Qualifications

Skills/Experience:
  • Advanced PC skills including Word.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Prioritising work using time management and organisational skills.
  • Good administration skills with ability to work both as part of a team and unsupervised on day-to-day duties and tasks.
  • Punctual / flexible
