We're now looking for a Relief Receptionist to join our team at Ballincurrig Care Centre, Leamlara, Co. Cork. If you're professional, friendly, and highly organised — we'd love to hear from you.

As a Relief Receptionist, you'll be a key support to the daily operations of the care home, ensuring smooth communication and a friendly, efficient front desk.

• Greet and assist residents, families, visitors, and staff
• Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle general queries
• Provide administrative support to the Director of Nursing and wider team
• Maintain records, schedules, and documentation accurately
• Help manage correspondence, reporting, and daily communications
• Support in ad hoc and regular tasks as required across departments
• Uphold a professional, welcoming, and compassionate presence

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Are confident handling calls, emails, and face-to-face queries
• Are organised, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• Can manage confidential information professionally
• Are flexible and available to provide cover at short notice
• Have strong IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar
• Have experience working in a healthcare or care home setting (desirable)
