We're currently seeking a Relief Activities Co-Ordinator to join our team at Ballincurrig Care Centre, Leamlara, Co. Cork. If you're creative, compassionate, and love working with people, this is your opportunity to make a real difference.

• Have experience in a healthcare or social care setting (preferred)

What You'll Do

As a Relief Activities Co-Ordinator, you'll support our team by leading engaging activities that promote the emotional, physical, and social wellbeing of our residents. You'll help create a homely and enriching atmosphere — even if just for a day — through fun, creativity, and connection.

In This Role, You Will

• Organise and lead group and one-to-one activities that promote social, physical, and mental wellbeing
• Support residents in exploring new hobbies, talents, and pastimes
• Create a programme of inclusive, engaging, and accessible activities
• Foster autonomy, confidence, and a sense of purpose through positive engagement
• Collaborate with nursing and care staff to understand residents' interests and needs
• Document participation and progress, including photos and consent where required
• Help reduce boredom, loneliness, and anxiety by creating a stimulating environment
