About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Quantitative Research Director to join our strong team and help manage current client needs while driving the business to new heights. This leadership role will involve managing existing client accounts, generating new business, and overseeing all aspects of the research process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute the company's strategy
    • Ensure alignment with client objectives and market trends
    • Champion innovation in research methodologies and analytical tools
  • Project Oversight:
    • Design and oversee end-to-end research projects, including sampling, data collection, analysis, and reporting and storytelling
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
  • Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of researchers and analysts
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning
    • Help manage resource allocation and workflow to optimize team efficiency
  • Client Engagement:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients
    • Present research findings and strategic recommendations to clients in a clear and impactful manner
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
  • Methodological Expertise:
    • Help lead the development and application of advanced statistical and quantitative methodologies
    • Stay updated on emerging research trends, tools, and technologies
    • Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in data handling and research practices
  • Business Development Support:
    • Collaborate across the senior team to identify client needs and tailor research proposals
    • Contribute to proposal writing, budgeting, and pitching new projects
Requirements:
  • You have a proven passion for market research and experience in quantitative research techniques and analysis
  • You likely already hold an Associate Director or Director position and have at least 10 years' experience in market research or a related field
  • You have considerable experience in project and people management, with a track record of being able to instil client confidence quickly and contribute to revenue generation
  • You have excellent reporting skills and are a first-rate presenter
