Overview

Join to apply for the Payroll Specialist role at Trindent Consulting in Dublin. The Payroll Specialist will work on-site at the Dublin office, reporting to the Financial Specialist, five days a week. We are looking for a motivated individual with strong Excel skills and a background in Accounting/Accounts Payable/Payroll to join the team.

Responsibilities
  • Calculate and submit commissions, bonus and other benefits
  • Process payroll for workers in Europe on regular and ad hoc basis
  • Prepare reconciliations and monitor payments to third parties and resolve issues
  • Record keeping and updating compensation related information
  • Maintain FTE master and be able to generate key insights, highlighting trends in their domain
  • Liaise with different teams on information related to staff planning
  • Respond to payroll queries from management and leaders
  • Perform onboarding and offboarding requirements, such as related to pension and insured benefit coverage in a timely manner (enrolments, terminations, changes, etc.)
  • Remain abreast of requirements from legislation, directives, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance, as well as changes to the payroll processing system
  • Perform regular and annual review of the operating procedures and submit changes for approval
  • Work on process improvements and innovations and provide recommendations
  • Research and perform general administrative duties regarding new employment in foreign countries
Qualifications
  • Maintain confidentiality and good judgment
  • Ideally have payroll experience in the UK, Canada and the USA
  • Have strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Be a good communicator and proactive
  • Have experience working with international payroll requirements
  • Have experience working in a fast-paced growing matrix organization is a plus
  • Have post-secondary education in accounting / finance
  • 3-4 years of accounts payable / accounting experience with small to medium size companies
  • Have high level of proficiency with Excel
  • Have thorough experience of using Ceridian and other 3rd party payroll systems
