Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll clients, preparing and reviewing monthly payroll files, and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of payroll clients, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll files.
  • Assist with payroll-related queries from clients, providing clear and concise guidance.
  • Contribute to the general management of multiple client payroll portfolios, providing ad-hoc support as required.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of clients, delivering a high standard of client service.
  • Execute client engagements and technical queries in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with partners and directors on firm-wide engagements.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Irish payroll processing.
  • A payroll qualification from IPASS or equivalent.
  • A good working knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software (e.g., Sage, Thesaurus, BrightPay).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
