People & Talent Specialist
Are you passionate about people and driven to make an impact? Staycity Group is looking for a People & Talent Specialist to join our vibrant and growing People team. This is a fantastic opportunity to sit at the heart of our talent and HR operations, helping to shape the employee experience, from first contact to day one and beyond.

You'll be someone who's as comfortable sourcing top talent as you are helping new starters settle in on day one or running a report from our HRIS, Bob. You'll bring a proactive, people-first approach and be open to expanding your skills in both recruitment and people operations. We're looking for someone who's eager to collaborate, flexible in approach, and excited to grow with us.
What You'll Do
- Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and create clear, compelling job profiles.
- Attract candidates using a mix of sourcing techniques, including LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Manage the recruitment lifecycle, from advertising and screening to interviews, feedback, and offers.
- Maintain accurate records in our Applicant Tracking System and support data-led decision making.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines to support future growth.
- Provide a positive, engaging candidate experience that reflects Staycity Group's core values.
- Report on key metrics such as time-to-fill and source effectiveness to support continuous improvement.
- Support with employment contract preparation, ensuring documentation is accurate, compliant, and reflects our SCG tone of voice.
- Support our People BPs in understanding relevant employment legislation relating to benefits and remuneration packages as we enter new geographies.
- Coordinate and deliver engaging new starter inductions and onboarding experiences.
- Collaborate with the wider People team on projects, systems, and people processes.
- Be ready to step into general people tasks as needed, such as amendments, onboarding support, or policy queries.
- At least 2 years of in-house recruitment experience within a company setting is essential.
- Confidence managing recruitment end-to-end while supporting wider people operations.
- Ideally, experience or qualifications in HR (e.g. CIPD) or a keen interest in building broader HR capability.
- A collaborative, curious mindset with a desire to learn and grow.
- Great communication skills, you build trust, keep people informed, and handle feedback constructively.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude, ready to contribute to shared goals and help where needed.
