Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Marketing Specialist to join a forward-thinking company that's passionate about making a difference in children's education. This exciting role will have you creating the marketing strategy for educational products for 5-18 year olds, ensuring that they resonate with target audiences (teachers / schools / principals / parents) and align with commercial goals. This role is hybrid, based in D24 (3 days per week in office). It offers a good salary, bonus, pension and further benefits as part of a friendly, helpful and progressive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy & Execution Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to drive product awareness and adoption in the target audience (teachers / schools / principals / parents).Plan and lead promotional strategies for Primary and Post-Primary product categories.Manage advertising campaigns across multiple channels, including digital (Google Ads, social media, third-party platforms) and print.Create compelling marketing materials such as brochures, product content, and promotional assets.Collaborate with authors and internal teams to create engaging video content for product promotion.
  • Campaign Management Set up, monitor, and optimize email marketing campaigns, generating performance reports to drive improvements.Update and maintain the company website, ensuring accuracy and alignment with marketing goals.Organize and execute webinars, collaborating with authors and presenters, and measure success using defined KPIs.Coordinate product surveys to gather valuable customer feedback, working closely with Sales and Commissioning teams.
  • Market Insights, Research & Competition Monitoring Conduct market research to uncover trends and customer insights that inform marketing strategies.Monitor competitor activities and industry shifts to identify new opportunities for product positioning and differentiation.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration Act as the marketing voice in Go-To-Market and Product Development teams.Collaborate with Sales and Commissioning teams to ensure marketing efforts align with broader objectives.Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies.
  • Reporting & Budget Management Track KPIs for marketing activities and report on campaign performance.Manage the marketing budget and ensure efficient spend for product promotion.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Core Competencies Strategic Thinking: Align marketing efforts with business goals and long-term strategies.Creativity: Ability to create innovative, audience-focused campaigns that stand out in a competitive market.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.Analytical Skills: Data-driven approach to decision-making and campaign optimization.Digital Marketing Expertise: Proficient in email campaigns, webinars, paid ads, and analytics tools.Technical Knowledge: Experience with CMS tools (e.g., Shopify), CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365), Google Ads, Google Analytics, and online survey tools (e.g., SurveyMonkey).Project Management: Skilled in managing multiple projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve shared goals.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience A strong foundation in Marketing with a formal educational background in Marketing or a related field.3-5 (or more) years of experience in product marketing, with a focus on driving product success.Experience in publishing or education sectors is a plus.
  • Personal Attributes Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships across teams.A customer-centric approach with a genuine passion for the education space.Strong problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
