KNOW THE ROLE: Our Digital department are looking for an experienced Senior Online Merchandiser to join their Fashion team in our South Anne Street Head Office location. We are looking for someone who can bring a strong commercial & strategic outlook to the Fashion team as a Senior Online Merchandiser, with experience in managing team and/or a leading role. You will be responsible for driving and executing your division's strategy and trading performance, as well as bringing new ideas to drive trade through site optimization and development, campaign and category strategy, as well as reviewing product range and assortment.

This role reports into the Senior Online Merchandise Manager and currently manages two direct reports. The team currently operates a flexible WFH plan to suit the department and teams. Working regularly from our open office space makes it easy to share ideas and be inspired whilst also offering flexible WFH days.

Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales targets for their assigned Womenswear Division, maintain and input into the commercial calendar to drive trade aligned with wider business and brand specific event
  • Drive the digital strategy and roadmap for their department with input from key internal teams: Buying, CRM, Marketing, Concessions and Acquisitions
  • Manage the planning and roll out of key initiatives and projects as part of the wider Commercial team and Digital Department
  • Attending brand calls and co-ordinating the roll out of strategic roadmaps in line with Buying & Marketing teams. Continuously align on priorities, opportunities and initiatives.
  • Involved in Wider Digital projects & responsible for improvement of customer experience through onsite journey & development
  • Responsible for increasing & reporting on Conversion and AOV for their category through the planning and execution of promotional calendar and site optimisation
  • Manage & achieve deadlines in terms of product, brand & campaign launches through collaboration with various teams
  • Analyse customer behaviour and sales, to understand customer journeys and sales drivers, providing weekly reporting and insights to internal stakeholders and key brands specially ahead of key trading campaigns/events
  • Knowledge and solid understanding of acquisition channels and how they impact demand metrics for their category.
  • Work closely with online marketing team to identify and utilize opportunities to ultimately increase revenue
  • Monitor stock availability & fulfilment rules, working with buying as well as concessions team to ensure depth and width of range is optimal to achieve sales targets
  • Strive for continuous improvement within the team and identifies areas of improvement and roll out processes to improve efficiencies and ways of working.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities where the team can add value to the achievement of business objectives and act on these
  • Management of Junior team members on execution of commercial and strategic priorities
  • Ownership of strategy end execution across the teams on key cross divisional areas such as Product reviews & Sustainability
Qualifications
  • 3 years minimum e-commerce experience with at least 1 year in a management and/or leading role
  • Focused on the delivery of the organisations business goals and targets, maintaining clarity, purpose, direction with their team
  • Ability to develop a high performing team & encourage collaboration and partnership
  • Demonstrates a high degree of self-confidence, optimism and flexibility in coping with changing priorities
  • Candidate is proactive, determined and energetic in tackling obstacles and delivering results
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong management & delegation skills
  • Strong knowledge of latest digital technologies, industry and competitive landscape
  • Deep knowledge of digital merchandising techniques
  • Excellent analytical skills & proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to clearly relay insights and identify opportunities & risks
  • Flexibility to work in rapidly changing environment (Digital team) within a larger corporation
  • Ability to take initiative with a positive, "problem-solving" attitude
  • Strong multitasking tasking skills to ensure flawless execution with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong market and customer awareness
