Maintenance Manager
The ideal candidate will be continuously assessing equipment, systems, and processes to ensure they are safe, reliable, and running at peak efficiency. This person will be confident leading a team, coordinating maintenance schedules, and identifying improvement opportunities through detailed analysis. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential, along with a hands-on approach to leadership and a proactive mindset.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the functionality, safety, and compliance of all machinery, equipment, and facility systems
- Escalate issues promptly and coordinate timely repairs to minimize downtime and operational impact
- Conduct regular safety checks, inspections, and training sessions for maintenance staff
- Analyze performance data and equipment reliability to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules using CMMS tools
- Oversee spare parts inventory and liaise with vendors to ensure availability of critical components
- Track maintenance budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field preferred)
- Minimum 5 years' supervisory experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of heavy machinery, utilities, and maintenance processes
- Proficient in CMMS software and familiar with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Certification in maintenance management (e.g., CMRP, CRL) is a plus
