Primary Purpose:

As a Food & Beverage Assistant you will be responsible for providing the required standard of service and hospitality to customers in an efficient and professional manner. You will be based both in the Clubhouse and the Castle.

Key Responsibilities:

You will report to and take direction from the Food & Beverage Management team. Your main areas of responsibility will include, but are not confined to:

  1. Positive, can-do attitude
  2. Providing a professional 5* standard of service to internal (fellow colleagues) and external customers (guests)
  3. Operation of computerised sales system
  4. Assistance with stock control procedures
  5. Assist with re-stocking of bar
  6. Assist with monitoring and acceptance of deliveries as required
  7. Maintain bar area to the required standard on a daily basis
  8. Ensuring that you fully understand and adhere to departmental Game Plans
  9. Provide food & beverage service within all areas of the Resort
  10. Communicate and liaise with other team members and other departments to ensure the smooth running of events and maintain standards of customer service
  11. Adhere to and maintain Health & Safety Procedures
  12. Adhere to and implement relevant Company policies and procedures, particularly in relation to cash drops, security procedures etc.
  13. Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance and personal hygiene
  14. Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role
  15. Any other duties relevant to your skills that may be assigned to you by the Company.
General:

You are expected to carry out your duties in a diligent and professional manner with a friendly outgoing attitude. It is important that you work together with all members of the team to ensure that we operate a high standard of professional service and provide an enjoyable environment for members, customers and employees alike.

Experience & Skills Required:
  1. A minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar role in a 4/5* hotel or golf resort.
  2. Proficient in till systems.
  3. Highly organised, strong team player and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Positive attitude and good communication skills.
  5. Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
  6. Ability to foster and develop working relationships.
  7. Excellent grooming standards.
  8. Please note this role would suit someone over 18 years of age, as the role involves working late nights and early hours.
