YOUR DAY TO DAY LIFE

We are looking for a Relief Van Driver in Athgarvan Road, Newbridge, Co. Kildare, Newbridge W12W951 IRL. Your mission will be to:

  • Transport clean, sealed samples from various food producers around Ireland to our Laboratory in Newbridge
  • Plan out your routes in advance and ensure you meet delivery deadlines
  • Ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods
  • Report any accidents, violations, or defects in your vehicle to the Customer Operations Manager or designate
  • Responsible for completing daily documentation to ensure delivery records are up to date
  • Liaise with customers and colleagues in a friendly and positive manner
  • Comply with company policies, procedures and road safety regulations
  • Be flexible in your role to deal with unexpected challenges calmly and efficiently
YOUR PROFILE
  • A full, clean Irish driving licence
  • Detailed knowledge of the road safety regulations
  • Ability to load and unload goods to and from the van, the typical weight of products will be 1 - 15kg
  • Excellent customer service and presentation skills
  • Ability to use and read Sat-Nav systems
  • A team player with the ability to work on your own initiative
  • The ability to adapt to unexpected situations such as inclement weather or heavy traffic
