We are looking for a professional driver in Athgarvan Road, Newbridge, Co. Kildare, Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting clean, sealed samples from various food producers to our laboratory in Newbridge.

  • Plan out your routes in advance to ensure timely delivery
  • Ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods
  • Report any accidents, violations, or defects in your vehicle to the designated manager
  • Responsible for completing daily documentation to ensure delivery records are up to date
  • Liaise with customers and colleagues in a friendly and positive manner
  • Comply with company policies, procedures and road safety regulations
Requirements
  • A full, clean Irish driving licence
  • Detailed knowledge of the road safety regulations
  • Ability to load and unload goods to and from the van, typical weight of products will be 1 - 15kg
  • Excellent customer service and presentation skills
  • Ability to use and read Sat-Nav systems
  • A team player with the ability to work on your own initiative
