Responsibilities
  • Ongoing management of the "Work Action" Log to identify and prioritise own workload
  • Assessment of Travel Claims in accordance with: CPC/FSA Guidelines; Client Policy Wordings / Technical Requirements; SLAs
  • Ensure allocated claims and claim records are maintained professionally and accurately
  • Accurate and timely processing of claim payments
  • Operate in accordance with your Claims Handling Licence; refer to Team Leader if a decision falls outside of personal licence
  • Identify Fraud, Recoveries and Complaints at the earliest possibility and refer to the appropriate Colleague
  • Refer all Complaints to the Team Leader immediately upon receipt
  • Maintain clear communication within the Team and with Claimants
  • Provide support to the Team Leader in the technical development of colleagues (as required)
  • Actively support the Team Leader and colleagues in delivering excellent service to Claimants and Clients, including identifying potential operational improvements
Qualifications / Skills
  • Good knowledge of Travel Insurance Products and Policy Wordings
  • Good knowledge of the Claim Life Cycle
  • Good analytical and numeracy skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
  • IT literate with good knowledge of Word, Excel and Notes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and demonstrate personal initiative & innovation
