Manage, develop, and evaluate employees to ensure efficient department operations, including hiring, developing, promoting, engaging and retaining talent while setting performance objectives to ensure functional goals are fully met.

Responsibilities
  • Lead projects and project teams.
  • Develop and maintain tool standards and procedures, ensuring consistent adherence by equipment engineers.
  • Coordinate tool data analysis, compile reports, present findings, recommend corrective actions, and propose long-term improvement plans.
  • Track installation, site acceptance testing, and mass production readiness of new equipment; oversee the relocation of existing equipment to optimize workflow.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a system for tracking tool records, inspections, warranties, and service agreements.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and cross-functional teams to resolve equipment issues, improve reliability, review procedures, and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor critical tool performance, ensuring maintenance schedules are followed and specifications are met.
  • Investigate and implement countermeasures to prevent premature part breakdowns.
  • Respond to engineering support inquiries from other departments, and allocate resources during critical tool downtime.
  • Research, develop, and implement emergency tool recovery plans.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
