Business Analyst – Integration (Insurance)

Location: Ireland

Overview

Seeking an experienced Business Analyst (Integration) to support the integration of 13 entities across UK & Ireland following an acquisition. This role will focus on business change, stakeholder engagement, and documenting as-is processes across multiple workstreams. The technical integration will be handled by the M&A technical team further down the line, so the focus here is on business impact and change management.

This is a high-visibility role that requires someone who can hit the ground running, work with challenging stakeholders, and drive forward integration activities with empathy, professionalism, and pace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders to document as-is business processes, SOPs, and system processes.
  • Work across multiple integration workstreams to assess business change impacts and define requirements.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand and embed change, ensuring impacts on people and processes are effectively managed.
  • Support reporting requirements and ensure business needs are captured and delivered.
  • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring clarity and accountability.
  • Confidently challenge stakeholders when necessary, while maintaining strong relationships.
  • Provide senior stakeholders with confidence and assurance by demonstrating ownership and accountability.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the insurance industry (essential).
  • Strong track record in business change and integration projects.
  • Ability to document processes and requirements to a high standard.
  • Skilled at working in complex, multi-entity organisations.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills – able to challenge appropriately without creating conflict.
  • Adaptable, dynamic, and proactive with a hands-on approach.
  • High levels of empathy and ability to consider the impact of integration on incoming teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire confidence in senior stakeholders.
  • Can-do attitude, highly motivated, and able to work at pace.
