The Opportunity

Become part of a team managing a large commercial property and liability portfolio, working closely with Broker partners and Customer Relationship Executives. Your focus will be underwriting our religious and education portfolio, engaging with internal stakeholders to meet retention and GWP targets aligned with our growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Underwrite religious and education renewals profitably to meet GWP targets.
  2. Develop and manage relationships with customers and Broker partners.
  3. Oversee customer outcomes of renewals in line with KPIs.
  4. Balance turnaround speed with technical underwriting requirements.
  5. Negotiate and assess risks within the Delegated Underwriting Authority framework.
  6. Identify and implement process or service improvements for our customer base.
  7. Minimum 3 years' experience in general insurance.
  8. Understanding of customer insurance needs.
  9. Experience in customer relationship management and technical underwriting.
  10. Possession of CIP or working towards ACII.
  11. Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
Regulatory Notice

This role requires compliance with the Central Bank of Ireland's Minimum Competency Code and may require a recognized insurance qualification. The position is a Control Function (CF-4 & 8) and subject to Conduct Standards and the Individual Accountability Framework. Allianz Ireland is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
