APCOA are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join the team based in Dublin. The holder of this position will be ultimately responsible for expanding the business of APCOA Parking Ireland.

You will be a self-starter with extensive business to business experience in a technical service driven industry.

What you'll do

  • Expand and grow the business by generating and pursuing business leads across various sectors. This is including but not limited to, Property and Commercial Management Companies, Estate Agents, Property Owners/Developers, public tendering opportunities and existing competitor contracts.
  • Develop and promote innovative parking solutions using technical advancements
  • Develop and prepare proposals, quotations and presentations for potential clients
  • New client/site implementation, working with suppliers and operations to ensure all is completed in line with legislation and company policies.
  • Account Management – looking at current accounts and ways of selling enhanced services to existing clients
  • Maintain an update company CRM - existing sites and potential new sites with accurate, with up-to-date contact and activity details
  • Develop and present status reports, for example activities, closings, follow-up and adherence to goals
  • Participate in events to market the products such as exhibitions, seminars, trade shows
  • Utilise tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and prospect new customers

What you'll bring

  • Degree in Business or equivalent qualification
  • Extensive experience in a rapid growth technical sales environment
  • Must possess good working knowledge of Microsoft XP. This includes advanced level Word, PowerPoint and intermediate level in all other Microsoft applications excel, outlook etc. Knowledge of Access databases
  • Able to plan and prioritise workload ensuring tight deadlines are met at all times across a range of tasks.
  • Experience of brief taking, proposal preparation, client meetings and presentations
  • Self-motivated, confident and proactive. Needs to hit the ground running.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in pressurised environment (tendering processes)
