Your Role

As a Category Leader for Indirect Professional Services (including but not limited to consulting, licenses [non-software], Learning and Development, contract labour, HR benefits) you will be part of the Indirect Sourcing team. You will work closely with cross functional teams and key stakeholders to drive effective sourcing strategies to deliver the best outcome for Aptiv in a cost effective and compliant manner. Key focus areas include; managing sourcing events, commercial negotiations, perform market and competitor analysis, and overseeing contract administration and risk management.

In your daily job you will:

• Create and manage RFx events, supplier evaluations, negotiations, supplier selection and recommendations for deals within your scope.

• Develop and monitor key performance indicators for all engagements.

• Ensure full compliance with SCM policy and procedures in Aptiv for all sourcing events.

• Act as escalation point for relationship of Suppliers and stakeholders.

• Analyze category spend regularly and identify opportunities to achieve cost savings/avoidance.

• Perform market analysis within the managed category

• Prepare reports, documentation to support initiative tracking

• Establish and maintain close relationship with internal and external stakeholders

• Note: IT Services is out of scope for this role.

Your Background

• 5 years of experience in Supply chain or Procurement of indirect services

• Experience in managing sourcing projects houses in different markets around the globe

• Exposure in sourcing services across different business area (e.g. Tax, IT, Manufacturing, HR, Engineering etc)

• Experience in working in matrix organization with various functional stakeholders and on various Regions.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

• Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and capable of delivering within deadlines.

• Self-motivated and ability to work in a geographically dispersed team

• Solid Technical/Commercial/Financial knowledge to operate intelligently and persuasively with suppliers, business line and engineering leadership.

• Superior oral and written communication & selling skills.

• Fully competence with MS suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc) and Tableau experience would be advantageous.
