Job Description:Applications are invited for a specific purpose contract post of Project Conservator – Paper and Books (Davitt archives) in the Preservation & Conservation Department at Trinity College Library. The successful candidate will work on papers, letters, notebooks, diaries, and photographs in the Michael Davitt Archive, responsible for conservation treatment, documentation, and developing conservation workflows in collaboration with the team. The role involves working both independently and within a team, managing workflows, and reporting on project milestones.
The post is funded by a government-sponsored cultural scheme and is tied to specific project activities expected to be completed within a defined period. Employment is not indefinite, and the contract may terminate upon project completion or funding withdrawal.
Additional Details:- Post status: Specific Purpose Contract
- Hours of Post: 35 hours per week
- Salary: €60,520 - €72,709 per annum, based on the Senior Technical Officer Salary Scale
