Outbound Sales Development Representative

Leaptree is a RevOps Performance Management suite based in Dublin, Ireland. The company specializes in aligning teams, streamlining operations, and maximizing revenue for sales, marketing, and customer service teams. Leaptree's core products, fully embedded within Salesforce, help clients manage sales commissions, boost win rates through coaching, and improve CX quality assessment productivity.

Position Overview

As an Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Leaptree, you will be on the front line of our sales efforts, generating new business opportunities by qualifying potential leads through proactive outreach. Your goal is to fuel the sales pipeline by engaging prospective clients, understanding their needs, and setting up high-quality opportunities for our account executives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound prospecting via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate high-quality leads and create new business opportunities for the sales team.
  • Research and identify target accounts and decision makers within Leaptree's ideal customer profile.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on criteria such as interest, budget, needs, and purchase timeline.
  • Book discovery meetings and demonstrations with qualified prospects.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of prospect interactions and pipeline status in CRM (Salesforce).
  • Collaborate closely with marketing to align messaging and strategies for outbound campaigns.
  • Follow up on event leads and support high-visibility campaigns.
  • Continuously test and refine outreach strategies to improve response rates and conversion.
  • Report on pipeline activity, lead quality, and progress toward targets on a weekly and monthly basis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or a similar role, in SaaS, technology, or B2B sales environments.
  • Proven experience meeting or exceeding targets in lead generation and qualification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • Strong research, analytical, and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable making cold calls and handling outbound prospecting activities.
  • Proficiency using CRM systems (ideally Salesforce) and sales engagement tools.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to progress within a sales-driven organization.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience working at or selling to companies that use Salesforce.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Additional language skills and/or experience in enterprise sales are a bonus.
