Job Title: Director of M&A Integration - Manufacturing

Sector: Industrial Manufacturing & Materials

Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

Salary: €150,000+ plus bonus and benefits

Our client is a leading international group within the industrial manufacturing sector with a strong growth trajectory. Following a significant cross-border acquisition, the company is embarking on a complex integration programme designed to unlock operational synergies, deliver cost reductions, and position the business for long-term success.

Why should you apply?

This is a high-impact, Director-level role with full ownership of a manufacturing-led integration agenda. You will shape and drive the successful alignment of two sizeable organisations, ensuring that value capture, cost efficiencies, and operational improvements are realised across the short, medium, and long term. Working closely with a highly capable leadership team, you will have the autonomy and authority to influence decisions at the highest level while leading both strategic and hands-on delivery activities.

Who should apply?

Ideal candidates will have led post-merger integration programmes in complex, multi-site manufacturing environments. Strong commercial and operational acumen is essential, along with the ability to work at pace and manage diverse stakeholder groups. Key requirements include:

  • Proven track record in leading large-scale post-merger integration projects within manufacturing
  • 10+ years' experience in senior transformation, programme management, or operational leadership roles
  • Background in industrials strongly preferred (e.g. packaging, plastics, chemicals, building materials)
  • Experience delivering headcount, procurement, raw material, and energy cost efficiencies
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder engagement skills, including C-suite interaction
  • Resilience, decisiveness, and the ability to thrive under pressure
Role and Reporting Lines

Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will:

  • Integration Leadership – Own the end-to-end integration programme, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timelines across manufacturing and operations
  • Operational Synergies – Identify and deliver quick wins as well as longer-term savings in procurement, raw materials, headcount, and energy costs
  • Programme Management – Develop and manage an integration roadmap, including Day 1, first 100 days, and long-term milestones
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Partner with senior leaders across plants and functions to drive alignment and resolve issues
  • Performance Monitoring – Establish KPIs to track progress and ensure delivery against synergy targets
  • Change Management – Anticipate and manage the impact of integration on people, processes, systems, and site-level operations
  • Governance & Reporting – Maintain clear, regular reporting to senior stakeholders on progress, risks, and mitigations
