Senior Business Analyst (Contract) | Financial Services | Dublin / Hybrid |

Location: Dublin (Hybrid 3 days on site)

Type: Day-Rate Contract

We're working with a leading global asset manager to recruit a Senior Business Analyst on a contract basis. This is a high-impact role suited to a seasoned business analyst who can hit the ground running, working across complex, cross-functional initiatives.

You'll join a fast-paced environment with strong autonomy, supporting both strategic transformation and BAU change projects. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and navigating data-rich applications.

Responsibilities

  • Rapidly familiarise with systems, data flows, and project goals
  • Define, document, and validate business requirements with global stakeholders
  • Lead or support solution design for application enhancements, migrations, or new builds
  • Collaborate with cross-border teams, bridging business and technical functions
  • Contribute to testing, data validation, and process improvement efforts
  • Respond effectively to shifting priorities in a fast-changing business environment

Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years' experience in business analysis within financial services, ideally asset management
  • Strong capability to work independently or within a distributed team setup
  • Proficiency with Agile delivery models, ideally with Jira exposure
  • Hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis or support
  • Understanding of UX principles, Java/Angular migrations, or legacy system transitions is beneficial
  • Prior exposure to CRM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) is advantageous
  • Confident communicator, effective with both business and technical stakeholders
