The Position

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Database Analyst and IT Support position for our internal IT department.

Key Responsibilities

The position will have 2 main area of responsibility. One related to general IT Support and the second to Database management.

IT Support
  • Provide first point of IT Support contact for all Forvis Mazars staff across the network.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues to resolution and/or escalate to senior staff.
  • Assist with the management of service desk tickets, planning and prioritising systematically to minimise backlog and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical assistance to project teams.
  • Develop an understanding of Forvis Mazars operational systems and infrastructure.
Database Analyst
  • Analysing, writing and executing SQL queries
  • Familiarising with Practice Engine database schema to be able to provide support for the issues related to PE
  • Managing task and activities on Practice Engine
  • Managing other databases as needed
General
  • Demonstrate commitment to and promotion of a culture of service excellence and continual improvement within the IT department.
Ideal Candidate
  • Must have medium SQL knowledge
  • Basic Windows knowledge
  • Help Desk experience would be advantageous
  • Must be customer service orientated
