Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients in the acute care setting.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' functional abilities and facilitating discharge.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care delivery.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation and adaptive techniques.
  • Participate in case conferences and contribute to the development of care plans.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with hospital policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration with CORU
  • Must have at least 1 full year's experience working as an Occupational Therapist in acute hospital settings, particularly in General Medical and Surgical wards.
  • Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
  • Willing to undergo Garda Vetting.
  • International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
