Maintenance/Industrial Electrician required mainly for the West Wicklow/Carlow/Kildare/Wexford areas to cover all areas of electrical work, mainly plant maintenance, industrial installations, fault finding, and preventive maintenance.

Education/Training/Experience:

• Qualified Electrician Fetac Level 6

• 6 months experience as an electrician post apprenticeship, preferably in an industrial/manufacturing environment.

• Experience in facilities and PLCs is essential, with experience in hydraulics and pneumatics desirable.

• Experience in food manufacturing industry a plus

• Ability to work on own initiative.

• Systematic troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.

• Ability to provide innovative solutions to complex technical problems.

• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.

• Good communication and team skills.

• High level of safe working practices and awareness.

• Good IT skills.

• Safe pass/manual handling

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, panels and systems

• Perform quality testing and inspections

• Working in preventive maintenance

• Work on PLC's and control systems

• Shift cover

• Be a good team player and be analytically minded in linking financial performance to operational efficiency

• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
